Concord 擁有最多的美國爵士藝人，超過900張專輯，是美國爵士樂唱片公司的領導品牌。前幾年Concord因為專輯的風格適合台灣樂友接受及錄音品質優良，在台灣也是風光了一陣子。最後因為專輯數量太多了，且一直堅持台灣的唱片代理要全部發行，所以在台灣新的代理權一直談不攏。所幸的是台灣新任代理不死心的一直和Concord聯絡，並說明台灣爵士唱片市場趨勢走向之特別之處，最後Concord終於答應正式給台灣的極光唱片公司，這對喜歡爵士音樂及好錄音的發燒友是一項好消息。

　Concord 的藝人包括Rosemary Clooney、吉他世家Pizzarelli父子、Susannah McCorkle、Tony Bennett、Art Blakey、Dave Brubeck、Charlie Byrd、Chick Corea、Karrin Allyson等等。 為了更專業的細分每種音樂類型，讓愛好者能更瞭解爵士樂，Concord再開闢多個副品牌，甚至建立一座可同時容納8500人的表演場所，供爵士樂表演者有最好的場地演出，讓人不得不佩服他對爵士樂發展的野心，2002年Concord更是創下紀錄，共被葛萊美獎提名11項獎項。

Concord Jazz Super Audio CD Sampler, Volume 1 features 13 selections from the first 15 of the Concord Records catalog reissue series. Taken from the SACDs available at the halfway point of this series, the sampler features Multichannel SACD selections from a number of the label's top artists.
